Little Caesars Pizza Kit Fundraising program was founded in 1997. Due to the Ilitches’ involvement with numerous youth sports teams, they saw the need for additional funding to continue to grow year after year. Today, the Pizza Kit program proudly helps thousands of schools, churches, sports teams and other non-profit organizations throughout the continental United States and in multiple Canadian provinces, reach their fundraising goals.

In 2006, inspired by the story of a veteran returning to civilian life after losing both of his legs in battle, Little Caesar founded its veteran program. This program was designed to provide honorably discharged veterans with incentives to help them open their own franchise when they transition from service or seek a new career. Mike Ilitch received the Secretary’s
Award from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for this program in 2007. It
is the highest honor given to a civilian by the department.
Ilitch Charities is a non-profit foundation founded in 2000 that invests in the community’s
future. The organization provides scholarships to eligible youth participants in
the Little Caesars AAA Hockey Club and the Little Caesars Amateur Hockey League.
It also provides grants to a number of non-profits and supports various programs in the areas of community development, human
services, education and recreation.
